hiyola · Child Safety Policy

Updated 23 October 2026

Adults only

hiyola is intended for people aged 18 or older who have reached the legal age of majority where they live. Children must not register, use the service, or have accounts created or managed on their behalf. Misrepresenting age is prohibited.

Zero tolerance for child abuse and exploitation

Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) are prohibited. This includes creating, requesting, possessing for sharing, publishing or distributing such material; grooming; sexual solicitation; sexualized depictions of children, including synthetic or illustrated content; sextortion; and trafficking. Threats, coercion, violence and other abuse involving children are also prohibited.

Report a concern

Use the in-app reporting or Help & feedback entry, or email support@hiyola.app with the subject “Child safety report”. Include relevant account identifiers, the location of the content and the approximate time. Do not download, forward or attach suspected CSAM. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Handling reports

Reports should be assessed promptly and handled with care for affected people. Confirmed prohibited content must be removed and responsible accounts may be restricted or terminated. Relevant evidence must be handled securely. Where required by applicable law, reports and relevant information must be provided to the appropriate child-protection or law-enforcement authority. Do not attempt to investigate suspected abuse yourself.
